Spectra of Swift  J053041.9-665426in the wavelength range λ3900−5000 Å taken on concurrent nights with the NTT. The spectra have been normalised to remove the continuum and redshift corrected by −280 km s^-1. Atomic transitions relevant to spectral classification have been marked. The lower one was taken on the first night, while a different normalisation has been used for better representation and comparison.
