Null tests performed on the locally brightest galaxy sample. Red points correspond to placing the filter one degree in declination away from the position of each LBG, while green points correspond to random high latitude filter positions. Both sets are consistent with zero. The black points show our measurements with filters centred on the LBG sample, demonstrating highly significant detections.
