The HDO and H2O abundances from Coutens et al. (2012) were recalculated with the χ2 minimization shown in Eq. (1).

The H2O abundances are obtained from the HO data using the collision rates with H2 calculated by Daniel et al. (2011). The HO/HO ratio is assumed to be 500.

The ratios remain valid if the absorbing layer is not due to the photodesorption.
