Notes.
Energy threshold of the analysis, defined as the location of the peak in the distribution of reconstructed photon energies;
detection significance (pre-trial) following Li & Ma (1983);
extraction radius used for the analysis assuming extended emission; a star (*) denotes the cases where the calculated intrinsic extent is negligible compared to the PSF (see Sect. 2.2);
photon flux upper limits (99% c.l., following Feldman & Cousins 1998) assuming a power-law spectrum with an index of −2.5;
ratio between the upper limit and the expected IC flux using either the GC starlight (GC), or the sum of the Galactic infrared (IR), Galactic optical (opt) and the CMB background as target photon fields (see Sect. 3).
Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.
Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
Initial download of the metrics may take a while.
