Sky maps of the pulsar’s total luminosity shown for two different bulk Lorentz factors Γ = 10 and Γ = 50 and for different χ. In the upper panels χ = π/2, in the middle ones χ = π/3 and in the lower ones χ = π/6. All the plots have been made using the parameters Δ = 0.01 and Rmin = 1. The luminosity is given by integrating ℒν (Eq. (A.4)) over all frequencies and multiplying with d2, where d is the distance of the pulsar from the observer. A beaming factor of ℱΩ = (4π)-1 has been used.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
