In the upper panels χ = π/2, in the middle ones χ = π/3 and in the lower ones χ = π/6. All the plots have been made using the parameters Δ = 0.01 and R_min = 1. The luminosity is given by integrating ℒ_ν (Eq. (A.4)) over all frequencies and multiplying with d², where d is the distance of the pulsar from the observer. A beaming factor of ℱ_Ω = (4π)^-1 has been used.
