The present-day mass function, Ψ(m) = dN/dm, for the Coma Berenices cluster from 0.2 M to 0.06 M. Each mass bin with an error bar has a width of 0.02 M; the error bars are based on the photometric uncertainties. The horizontal line is the mass function for the mass range 0.06 − 0.14 M derived from our data. For comparison, the Pleiades mass function dN/dm ∝ m-0.6 (inclined solid line) fitted over the mass range 0.05 − 0.25 M (Moraux et al. 2003) is overplotted. The limiting magnitude of the TLS survey (I = 22.5) corresponds to objects with mass  ~0.05   M.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
