The determination of the nitrogen inclination angle of a Class 2 star is shown for the example NGC 2004-30. The red dotted line indicates the observed surface nitrogen abundance and the blue solid line represents the calculated surface nitrogen abundance as a function of the fraction of the main sequence lifetime using vZAMS = 123 km s-1 in Eq. (2). The blue dashed line is calculated with a value of the surface rotation velocity of vZAMS = 173 km s-1. This corresponds to an inclination angle of sin(iN) = 0.71.
