tc is the time of closest approach from the MC axis.

(c)

The MCs are separated in three groups: non-perturbed, perturbed, and in interaction (denoted interacting).

θ and D are the latitude and solar distance.

(e)

Vc is the velocity at the closest distance from the MC axis and S is the MC size. Both are computed in the radial direction away from the Sun ().

(f)

⟨B⟩, ⟨Np⟩ and ⟨βp⟩ are the average over the flux rope of the field strength, the proton density and the proton β, respectively.

(g)

γ is the acute angle between the MC axis and the radial direction ().

(h)

ζ is the unidimensional expansion rate (Eq. (5)). ζ < 0 means a MC observed in compression stage.
