Notes. t_start denotes the starting time of the scans, and “target” indicates whether the scan was performed over an active region (AR), or the quiet Sun (QS). The number of boxes (“No. boxes”) extracted from each scan depended on the effective area of the field of view without sunspots and with μ > 0.99.
