Differences between spectroscopic and photometric determination of the spectral types. Values lower than zero indicate that the photometric types are later and values higher than zero mean that the photometric types are earlier spectroscopic types. The Gaussian fit roughly characterises the distribution of the samples of spectroscopically classified A and B-type stars.
