The color scale represents the density of sky pixels on a log scale. The blue dots show a -binned average representation of the correlation. The red line shows the best linear correlation derived at low values (). The vertical lines show the positions corresponding to AV = 0.37mag and AV = 2.5mag. These figures are shown for a single XCO = 2.3 × 1020H2 cm-2/(K km s-1).
