Unabsorbed RASS flux versus XMM-Newton flux for the 17 confirmed single-component clusters. The [0.1–2.4] keV flux is measured within an aperture of θ₅₀₀. Clusters coincident with a RASS-BSC or a RASS-FSC source are marked with red squares and green diamonds, respectively. The most significant outlier at high flux is PLCK G18.7+23.6 at z = 0.09 (see Sects. 6.1 and 6.2 for discussion).
