Results of 2D viscous disc models with FARGO, using a constant kinematic viscosity. The steady running time-averaged specific torque on the planet (code units) is plotted against the alpha viscosity at the planet location. Results are obtained for several values of the grid’s azimuthal extent Δϕ but with the same resolution.
