The positions and diameters were estimated from the very extended configuration SMA map;

deconvolved average diameter of the 50% contour level;

from the rotational diagram method (see Sect. 4.1). A range of temperatures is given for those cores for which an estimate of Trot is not possible with this method;

(d)

mass estimated using a dust temperature equal to Trot and a dust opacity of 0.8 cm2 g-1 at 1.3 mm (see Sect. 4.1);

(e)

the dust continuum emission associated with core A1 and used to estimate the mass is 102 mJy (see Sect. 3.1);

(f)

the dust continuum emission associated with cores A1+A1b+A1c and used to estimate the mass is 780 mJy (see Sect. 3.1).
