Notes. The mass of the whole galaxy (disc and halo) is given in 1010   M. Position states the position of the centre of mass of each galaxy in kpc with respect to the centre of the model volume. Velocity does the same for the initial velocities in km   s-1, β is the angle between vini and the z-axis. Ldisc gives the directions of the angular momenta of the discs parallel to the axes, for example,  + z means the vector points along the z-axis in positive direction. Finally, rmin is the perigalactic distance between the two galaxies at their first passage.
