The magenta curves include the effect of the Galactic absorption and Zodiacal light variation, while the black curve do not. The dashed curves represent the number of galaxies  ×1e7 for both configurations. The green region shows the COSMOS incompleteness affecting the reliability of CMC galaxy densities, which may impact conclusions in these areas.
