Notes. We list their names, positions, spectral type and the reason why they are no longer in our sample for all objects. These reasons are: A: not in the current version of the SAGE catalogue, B: does not obey the colour criterion, C: does not survive the black-body luminosity-cut (Sect. 2.3), D: is listed as a cool carbon star by Kontizas et al. (2001) or an AGB star with spectral type by Trams et al. (1999), E: is not a post-AGB star according to the spectral type, F: does not survive the SED luminosity-cut (Sect. 4.1). The subsample they belong to, the black-body-based luminosity and the SED-based luminosity, effective temperature and reddening are also listed if the available photometry and/or the spectral type allows to deduce them. A more extended version of this table that also lists the magnitudes of these objects in the different filters and some variability information can be found at the CDS. This catalogue contains the same information as the final catalogue of post-AGB stars (see Sect. 4.2), but with an extra final column listing the reason why these objects are no longer in our sample.

All spectral types indicated with a superscript a were found in the catalogue of massive stars of Bonanos et al. (2009), the others were determined based on our low-resolution, optical spectra.
