Appendix B: G/D with morphological type, stellar mass and star formation rate

In this appendix, we present how the sample distributes in morphological types, stellar masses and star formation rates (Fig. B.2). The morphological types were taken from NED. The stellar masses were obtained from the formula of Eskew et al. (2012) using the 3.6 and 4.5 μm IRAC flux densities. Whenever IRAC data was not available, we compute synthetic IRAC photometry from the SEDs. The SFR were converted from TIR luminosities using the Kennicutt (1998) formula. We also present the G/D as a function of these three parameters (Fig. B.3) and as a function of the specific star formation rate (SSFR, Fig. B.1). SSFR is defined as the star formation rate divided by the stellar mass: SFR/M.
