Table A.1

Vrad and associated errors for our Fornax targets. BOLD is a probable foreground star, since it falls outside the range of Vrad for membership in Fornax (see Fig. 4). Struck-out stars have been rejected because their September average velocity was significantly different (> 3 km s-1) to their January velocity. This suggests the possibility that they are binary stars and they were therefore rejected from further analysis.

Table A.2

Stellar parameters of the model used for our sample of 81 stars, along with the minimum EW used for each star.

Table A.3

Coordinates and photometric temperatures in different colours, shifted on the Teff(VI) scale. Teff is the average of the four different TVX, BCV the bolometric correction and MBol the bolometric magnitude.

Table A.4

List of all the lines, their associated parameters and their measured equivalent width (EWs in mÅ, measured by DAOSPEC) for all our Fornax stars. Part 1/5.

Table A.4

List of all the lines, their associated parameters and their measured equivalent width (EWs in mÅ, measured by DAOSPEC) for all our Fornax stars. Part 2/5.

Table A.4

List of all the lines, their associated parameters and their measured equivalent width (EWs in mÅ, measured by DAOSPEC) for all our Fornax stars. Part 3/5.

Table A.4

List of all the lines, their associated parameters and their measured equivalent width (EWs in mÅ, measured by DAOSPEC) for all our Fornax stars. Part 4/5.

Table A.4

List of all the lines, their associated parameters and their measured equivalent width (EWs in mÅ, measured by DAOSPEC) for all our Fornax stars. Part 5/5.

Table A.5

Abundance ratio of the Fornax Field stars, where we list the abundance, its associated error (σ) and the number of lines used (n). The quoted error is the error on [element/H], not [X/Fe]. Part 1.
