Top: Fraction of all dwarf candidates from all groups with a score of 1 per area bin. A quadratic function was fit to the data to create the best-fit line. For this paper, we dropped candidates with areas < 700 pixel², as highlighted by the tan region. The errors were propagated assuming Poisson statistics and that the number of dwarf candidates and the total number of galaxies per bin are independent.
