From left to right: a DESI dwarf galaxy (red cross) that was excluded during our dwarf selection as it shows a red centre and spiral structures – the nearby companion, with a strikingly similar appearance, is not in the DESI Extragalactic Dwarf Catalogue –, a DESI dwarf galaxy with coordinates (red cross) located in the outer part of this bright galaxy that was excluded during our dwarf selection as it is a bright (massive) galaxy.
