Examples of dwarf galaxy candidates with a very low surface brightness identified during the visual inspection of the Q1 tiles. Three of these galaxies (top left, top right, and bottom right) have a MER detection within a 2″ matching radius but are not retained by our automatic selection cut. The images are 1′×1′ in size; north is up and east to the left.
