Notes. TPSD is the PSD timescale obtained in Paper I, Tdur, obs is the mean flare duration, Tsep, obs is the mean flare separation and τrise, obs is the median rise time. The 90 % confidence limits for TPSD of constrained sources (in bold) include the limits given by the best-fit PSD slope. For the other sources, the confidence limits give any TPSD in the parameter space of possible slopes. The symbol > in TPSD indicates that the upper confidence limit is at the maximum timescale analysed in Paper I and thus may be longer. Both Tdur, obs and Tsep, obs are given with standard deviations, and τrise, obs includes the 68 % confidence interval. The timescales are all given in days.
