Proton flux as a function of energy acquired by RADEM on August 9, 2024, between 20:00 and 21:00 UT. The magenta and blue points show the fluxes obtained with the PROTONS 1–7 and CUSTOM 1–3 detection bins, respectively. The result of a rolling power law fit using the PROTONS 1–6 detection bins is shown in red, while the best fit to a power law using the PROTONS 1–8 detection bins is shown in light green. A better fit is obtained with the rolling power law, which has been attributed to a larger effect of the spacecraft modelling in the bottom sensors.
