Left: Computed response function of the EPHIN > 100 MeV proton channel. The effective energy, Eeff, was determined using the bow-tie method (Oleynik 2021, Sect. 5.3.3) with power laws of spectral index between γ = 2 and γ = 5. Only the central response is considered to minimise instrumental effects occurring at high flux levels.
