Notes. (a) It shows outbursts every ∼2.5 years. The following outburst took place in 2017. (b) The quiescent R-band magnitude quoted by Garcia & Wilkes (2002) is consistent with our own PSF analysis of a DECaPS image taken on 29 April 2017, which yields r’ = 22.10±0.12, cThe optical counterpart of KY TrA was lost after the V> 21 upper limit reported by Murdin et al. (1977) during the decay of the 1974 discovery outburst. The quiescent counterpart was only recovered by Zurita et al. (2015) 17 years after a new mini-outburst was serendipitously discovered in 1990.
Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.
Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
