Comparison between Sérsic model fitting in our work and van der Wel et al. (2012) for UVJ-selected quiescent galaxies. The figure compares effective radii R_eff and Sérsic index n. We corrected the R_eff values from van der Wel et al. (2012), originally measured at 1.6 µm, to 2.5 µm using Eq. (1), in order to match the average wavelength of our JWST images. The color of the hexbin cells indicates the counts in each cell in log scale. Gray dotted lines show identical values between the two works. This figure includes 3263 matched galaxies.
