Polarized SPFs extracted from SPHERE Qphi observations (Ginski et al. 2023) of protoplanetary disks. The left and right panels are for H and J band observations, respectively. Solid and dashed colored lines are, respectively, SPFs uncorrected and corrected for the limb brightening effect, extracted using DRAGyS with fit geometric parameters. Dotted black lines show the reference SPFs from Diskmap (Stolker et al. 2016) following the geometric parameters from Ginski et al. (2023). Limb brightening uncorrected and Diskmap SPFs are normalized to 90°. We normalized the corrected SPF to the minimum scattering angle in common with the uncorrected one, emphasizing the slope change induced by the limb brightening correction. An offset has been added between each curve for better rendering. The percentages of the mean offset between SPF before and after removing the limb brightening are shown in color, and the ones between DRAGyS (without LB correction) and Diskmap are in black.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
