Single stellar population PNLFs depending on the age and metallicity for the fiducial model without circumnebular extinction but varying the nebular metallicity correction. Rows correspond to the different ages, and columns to the metallicities. The final masses are computed from the IFMR of Miller Bertolami (2016) and are stated in the lower-right corner of each panel. In the cases where the initial mass values lie outside the modeled range, only a dash is shown (this is only the case for two panels in the top right and one in the bottom left). The PNLFs are obtained from 10⁶ stars of the respective final mass with equally spaced post-AGB ages between 0 and 30 000 yr. For the black PNLFs no nebular metallicity correction factor was applied, whereas the colored lines include the corrections by Jacoby (1989), Dopita et al. (1992), and Schönberner et al. (2010). The bright-end cutoff is marked by the vertical gray dashed line at M(5007) = -4.5.
