Single stellar population PNLFs depending on the age and metallicity for the fiducial model with the nebular metallicity correction by Dopita et al. (1992) and circumnebular extinction by Jacoby & Ciardullo (2025), normalized to different quantities. The structure of the grid and the amount of PNe sampled for each PNLF are the same as in Fig. 7. The black lines are the PNLFs obtained from 10⁶ stars of the respective final mass with equally spaced post-AGB ages between 0 and 30 000 yr. The red PNLFs are normalized to a total mass of 10¹² M_⊙ assuming a Chabrier IMF (Chabrier 2003). The orange PNLFs are normalized to a total bolometric luminosity of 10¹² L_⊙ based on the GALAXEV CB07 SSP models by Bruzual & Charlot (2003) using a Chabrier IMF.
