Table 1.
Best-fit orbital parameters of π1 Gru C from the UltraNest run.
Parameters | Values |
---|---|
MA | 1.54−2.19 M⊙ |
q | ![]() |
a | ![]() |
e | ![]() |
Ω | ![]() |
ω | ![]() |
i | 31.75−38.04 ° |
τ0 | ![]() |
Notes. MA (MC): mass of the primary (close companion, resp.); q: mass ratio MC/MA; a: semi-major axis; e: eccentricity; Ω: longitude of the ascending node; ω: longitude of the periastron; i: inclination; τ0: epoch of periastron. Best-fit values correspond to the maximum likelihood of the posterior distribution; standard deviations correspond to the 68.3% credible probability level from the posterior distribution. For MA and i, only confidence intervals are given due to poor constraints from the UltraNest run. These three considerations combine with the uniform prior to produce an upper value for MA that exceeds the initial prior range.
Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.
