Stellar kinematic measurements extracted from the JWST/NIRSpec G235H/F170LP IFU. Panel A: Logarithmic integrated intensity collapsed along the spectral dimension (excluding the detector gap at ∼2.41–2.49 μm). Panel B: PPXF fit for the central VORONOI bin. Part of the central bin spectrum, which contains the stellar absorption features at ∼2.3 μm (CO band heads), is plotted in black, and the best-fit empirical X-shooter stellar library (XSL; Appendix A.1) is overlaid in red. The residuals (data-model) are illustrated in green. Two vertical gray lines indicate the spectral region where we actually fit the model templates to the spectra of all bins. Panels C, D, and E: Rotation (V), velocity dispersion (σ), and root-mean-squared velocity ( V rms = V 2 + σ 2 $ V_{\mathrm{rms}}=\sqrt{V^2 + \sigma^2} $). White contours show the intensity, which decreases by 0.5 magnitudes from the center outward. We also performed the same measurements using the PHOENIX high-spectral-resolution synthetic spectral template (Appendix A.2), which are shown in Fig. A.1.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
