Demonstration of the feature replacement method applied to clean up the fringe flats. On the left the smooth short wavelength fringes are reproduced very well by the spline. On the right, the dichroic fringe in the longer wavelengths cannot be reproduced by the smooth spline, and the patching is done using the asteroid data.
