Notes. The Sun’s rotation rate, Ω, is given in terms of the Sun’s present rotation rate, Ω_⊙ = 2.67 × 10⁻⁶ rad s⁻¹, and the rotation period, P_rot, is given in days. B_⋆ is the radial magnetic field strength at the base of the solar wind, T_⋆ is the base temperature, and n_⋆ is the base density.
