Flight Model Shutter as prepared for its acceptance vibration test. The shutter leaf is the large square structure on the right of the image. The momentum-compensation wheel is at the bottom of the unit in this test orientation, with the drive motor within the structure above it. To minimise scattered light, the Shutter surface treatment is highly absorptive.
