Predicted tracks as a function of the metallicity of the donor star. For low Z (≲0.01) the assumed value of the metallicity changes the predictions while for systems with Z ≳ 0.02, the evolution is essentially independent of the metallicity (the green, blue, and orange lines overlap). We set K = η = 30 and M2 = 0.6 M⊙, while the other initial parameters were set as in Fig. 1.
