Spatial distribution of the Lorentz factor for the ideal MHD solution, GRBId and solutions GRBRes1 and GRBRes2. Black solid lines represent the magnetic flux lines, blue dashed lines correspond to contours of the total-energy-to-mass flux ratio, μ, and purple dot-dashed lines are the contours of the electric potential, Φ. In the resistive solutions, the contours of Φ start to diverge from the magnetic flux lines at the radial distance, rη, from the black hole where the resistivity is switched on, and turn toward the jet axis. The contours of μ also diverge from the magnetic flux lines and turn toward the jet axis, although the modification of their geometry in the resistive solutions is not as significant as that of the contours of Φ.
Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.
Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
