Total-energy-to-mass flux ratio, μ, of the ideal MHD and resistive jets. The increase of μ along the boundary streamline is significant in both solutions. Solution GRBRes2, which displays stronger dissipation, also shows a larger increase in μ. In both solutions, this increase is located in the region where the electric potential gradient along the flux lines is significant. At larger distances where it is negligible, μ is again constant.
