Rest frame optical-NIR light curve of GRB 240218A (brown line) compared with those of the BAT6 sample (grey curves). The curves were corrected for Galactic and intrinsic absorption. GRB 240218A is consistent with the population of LGRBs at early times, while it is brighter by about one order of magnitude than all (but one) curves from ∼104 s after the burst trigger.
