Deviations in the astrometric observable for the S2 star caused by the different photon propagation alone (i.e., not considering modifications to the star’s orbit) in theories with values of γ that differ from the general relativistic case (γ = 1). A variation in γ on the order of 100% from the general relativistic case produces an astrometric deviation that is below the instrumental sensitivity of GRAVITY, at 10 µas.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.

Initial download of the metrics may take a while.
