Distribution of OCs catalogued in Dias et al. (2021), projected on the GP, in galactocentric co-ordinates, for the different age groups used in the study. The Sun is located at (−8.122, 0) kpc. The concentric circumferences represent the radii of the cylindrical cuts considered: 1.00, 1.75, and 2.50 kpc. The colour scale encodes the number density of OCs on the plane, with darker tones representing higher density.
