SMBH mass – galaxy stellar mass relation at z = 0. The reference observations are obtained from Baron & Ménard (2019) for a sample of Type 1 and Type 2 AGN at z < 0.3. The pink line shows the model median and the 95% credible region, using a duty cycle f_d = 3%. The grey and black lines show the relation using MAP estimates for the parameter of the GSMF and BHMF models with f_d = 0.15% and f_d = 20%, covering the range of values found by Aird et al. (2018).
