Adiabatic temperature profiles for (a) different surface temperatures T_{1 bar} and fixed $Z_{H_{2} O} = 0.6$ ${Z_{{{\rm{H}}_2}{\rm{O}}}} = 0.6$ and (b) different $Z_{H_{2} O}$ ${Z_{{{\rm{H}}_2}{\rm{O}}}}$ , with T_{1 bar} fixed at Neptune’s value of 72 K. For each case, the He/H ratio was kept protosolar.
