Average mass versus orbital period ratio of every two adjacent planets in the mass catalogue. There is a weak Pearson and a moderate Spearman correlation, which are much higher than in Fig. 10. Each point is colour-coded based on the planet multiplicity in the system. The majority of planet pairs in systems with ≥5 planets have small PRs and average masses of M < 10 M.
