Test of the Monte Carlo code in 3D: distribution of intrinsic probability as a function of impact velocity between two test populations of particles with orbital elements a_t= 3.42 au, e_t = 0.578, i_t = 0.435 rad, and a_p = 1.59 au, e_p = 0.056, i_p = 0.466 rad, obtained using the Monte Carlo code, using 10⁴ and using 10⁶ particles in each population for the blue and the orange line, respectively, for comparison with figure 1 of Bottke et al. (1994), see also figure 4 of Wyatt et al. (2010).
