Cumulative sink particle mass distributions at the end of three simulations of our fiducial model with varying strengths of the gas pressure gradient. While the sink particles are less and less numerous with increasing gradient strength, their minimum and maximum mass are similar in all three simulations. The overall steepness of the distribution thus decreases for stronger gradients.
