Lyα luminosity density per unit comoving volume. These points were obtained by integrating the Lyα LF for LLyα > 1043.5 erg s−1. Our results show a declining trend with increasing redshift, compatible with the results presented in TT23 and with the integrated Lyα LF from Liu et al. (2022). We also compare with the integrated LF of the SFG population in Sobral et al. (2018), which covers LLyα ≲ 1043.5 erg s−1, showing that the integrated AGN Lyα luminosity is increasingly smaller than the galaxy contribution at higher redshift. We also compare with the diffuse Lyα emission measurement of Lin et al. (2022).
