One-dimensional velocity dispersion of the wake, i.e. the velocity dispersion in the vicinity of the point with the highest density, as a function of the velocity of the perturber. We note that the velocity dispersion is computed after the bulk motion has been subtracted. The simulation results for different cross-sections are shown, indicated by the Knudsen number.
