Distribution of the initial conditions of the binaries that reproduce the Gaia BH3 properties after BH formation. From top left to bottom right, the panels show the initial binary period, initial eccentricity, the module of the BH natal kick velocity, and the initial mass of the BH progenitor. We show the distributions obtained assuming different Maxwellian-distribution priors for the kick velocity: σv = 1 km/s (blue thick solid line), σv = 10 km/s (orange thick dashed line), σv = 50 km/s (green dotted line), σv = 100 km/s (red thin solid line), σv = 256 km/s (violet thin dashed line).

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
