Table 2
The parameters used for the spheroidal DF model of the bulge.
M | α | β | Jcut | J0 | hϕ | hz | gϕ | gz | δ |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
1.5 | 0.85 | 1.8 | 280 | 6 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 2 |
Notes. The units of mass and actions are 108 M⊙ and km s−1 kpc, respectively; α and β represent the inner and outer slopes in the double power law model; Jcut denotes the outer cut of the bulge and δ defines the sharpness of the downturn; J0 is the break action; and hϕ and hz determine the velocity anisotropy at smaller radii, while gϕ and gz determine the velocity anisotropy in the larger radii. It should be noticed that the values listed in this table is not a numerically fitted value for the Galaxy.
